Re: Lets Play!!
no, im not in med school, to become a nauropathic doctor here you first have to do pre-med 3-4 years (bachelor of
Science degree) then you go to naturopathic med-school for 4 years, witch covers evreything in standard med school, a&p, genetics, pharmacology, minor sergery, then things like homeopathy, hydrotherapy, hebals, manipulation, and massage. most naturopaths done prescribe here either, but since a naturopathic doctor can be your family doctor, or primary care physician they do prescribe things like anti-biotics when neccesary, because there are still some things naturopathy cant treat (teberculosis for one) and things like hormones, and pharmacuticle grade glandulars, IUD's, and insulin for diabetics. but it depends on the state province, as each has a different legislation. but more states and provinces are expanding the scope of practise for naturpathic doctors, because it is becoming so popular. some ND's specialize in kinesioloy, or iridology but its not part of the basic training, it needs to be learnd after the 7 years of med training.
this is why I want to learn kinesiology soon, so I can have it masterd by the time i am a doctor, I have already started iridology training. I am off on vacation for two weeks! i am going to victoria island to enjoy the ocean! then I will be heading to seattle to check out bastyr university, where i want to take my ND training! (just to check it out, still working on pre-med) you can check out their website
http://www.bastyr.edu
i will talk to you when i get back!
