i just tested positive for borrelia at bowen, waiting also for igenex report

for the person who asked what water i had visited - first do you know that lyme spirochetes have been found in well water? - i live in sunnyside wa

i came here in 1981 from western newyork where i had never seen a tick in my area

it is also now known that lyme can be spread by not only ticks, but flies, fleas, gnats, mosquitoes, and more

anyway, the water in my area is where i have visited

i have been to the ocean cannon beah over the years but think it is local where i got lyme

this area has many many ticks, flies from feedlots, irrigation water that has been contaminated with animal wastes and pesticides, lots of mosquitoes

i believe that i havehad lyme for many many years - before it went to my brain in 1998 when i got the skin lesions

i have a history dcades long of symptoms that correspond with the progression of lyme

but in 1998 here in sunnyside

1) local company that sells in-home water treatment systems advertizes in big bold print that their system "gets rid of hairs in your water"

people were finding what appeared to be hair and fiber in their water especially well water

now there are more than 8000 people with skin lesions with what looks like hair and fiber in them

this fiber has been determined to be cellulose - cause still under investigation

i had jackson chameleons then always used store -bought water, ran out, used my tap water

within a day they had black raised lines in skin, swollen necks, other odd symptoms

in 1998 my cats and dogs also developed odd symptoms like i had - vet could not diagnose

this is why i think the water was a factor

there is a lot of info on the national unidentified skin parasite association and the morgellons skin pathogen foundation

so far, over 90 people with skin and internal symptoms like mine have tested positive for lyme and coinfections mainly at bowen and igenex

it took my five years to find a local doc with the guts to ok these tests for me
