any way to know if sex will be painful?

Hi,
I'm 25 years old - diagnosed with endo, and had my first laparoscopy 7 months ago. After surgery, I had my period twice and was in excruciating pain, unable to use a tampon and forced to stay home from work (now 5 straight weeks of bleeding from continuous BC). The biggest surprise was getting a Pap exam - and even worse pain! I had to tell the doctor to stop.
I read that a lot of women have painful sex and am afraid this will happen to me. Is there any way to know if sex will be painful? Does this happen to everyone? Tweet
