I'm 25 years old - diagnosed with endo, and had my first laparoscopy 7 months ago. After surgery, I had my period twice and was in excruciating pain, unable to use a tampon and forced to stay home from work (now 5 straight weeks of bleeding from continuous BC). The biggest surprise was getting a Pap exam - and even worse pain! I had to tell the doctor to stop.
I read that a lot of women have painful sex and am afraid this will happen to me. Is there any way to know if sex will be painful? Does this happen to everyone?
