I think you're definitely on the right track with this dream...keep being conscious in your daily life about 'opening your heart' and self (4th and 3rd chakra)...and you'll keep growing.

It is verrry interesting that you mention marijuana...I have friends that 'don't dream' only until they stop smoking the stuff! For some reason it seems like marijuana inhibits dream memory...which leads one to think that it might be inhibiting growth of sorts too, ya know? It may just keep you in an unchanging State.
