Barlean's oil-thick brown sediment??

I'm using High Lignan Flax seed oil for Dr. Budwig diet.. I noticed at the bottom of the bottle large quantity of thick brown sediment,it can't be mixed with oil,it is like a thick paste. Is that normal? Oil is not rancid,it has been refrigerated the whole time..
