A few stainless steel balls about a half
inch in diameter dropped in the jug (not glass jugs or more than one glass marble! Glass fragments aren't healthy!) will do wonders for mixing the lignans in, particularly when used daily. Mine were bought as slingshot ammunition at a sports expo, where to get them in normal channels, I have no clue, but they work great.
If it's set awhile on a shelf, Pierce is dead on, you'll need to get in there a table knife or something and it takes a few minutes of effort to break up the layer and get it mixed in again. Keep in mind that the primary physical difference between your durable linolium kitchen floor and that sludge, is little more than that the flooring has a little decorative pigment and a pattern pressed into it, heheh.
