Very interesting dream.

I've been trying to figure out what the symbolic meaning of having a Dog Phobia (in real life) would mean....? Hmmm....have to think about that.

Anyway, in your dream....you describe the dog as having a big head and powerful jaws...I'm wondering if your Ego Self (Conscious 'masculine' Self as opposed to Subconscious 'feminine' Self =cat) is soooo powerfully in charge of your Being...as though your Conscious Ego Self is 'protecting' you from the more spiritual, mystical, subconscious, intuitive, feminine side of yourself....and he's doing it in such a way that is waaaay too aggressive. Doesn't want to give up his power...? hmmmm. You are bearing the pain that this overly Left Brain style of Being brings...

But then the Fear of Dogs in real life might show that it is just that male energy Conscious/Logical Ego stuff that you Fear....? Oh I'm not sure...but maybe discussing all these aspects will bring something to light!

When your dream fast forwards - it's very interesting that there is one Black Dog and one White Dog! Ah-ha! This is showing that your Conscious Self may be pretty judgemental...as you may see things as Black or White - no grey. (which is the intuitive, feminine, subconscious, cat, right-brain stuff!) Could be that you are judgemental about yourself, too...judging yourself as not Perfect enough...This may be projected outwards also to the world around you, as well.

You are the one that is bearing the Pain that the dog is inflicting (an aspect of yourself)....so the sooner you disentangle yourself from that Dog the better!
