Deep painful dog bite..

this is my dream last night... the best i can remember it...

I dreamed that I was visiting someone ( not sure who although i feel it was a male ).. and there was a large dog.. a rottweiller I think...one of those powerful dogs with strong jaws and large heads...

This dog grabs my hand and bite down on it very hard.. I could feel the pain in my dream... I ask the person ( man) to please remove the dog as he wont let go... for some reason he doesnt seem to be concerned.. I get the chordless phone and call 911... but they also dont seem to be concerned... I'm trying to be calm with all the pain and explain to the operator that i am being attacked and I'm bleeding severly...

then this dream seems to advance one month ( in the dream its mentioned that i was in the hospital for one month recovering) and i'm speaking to my former boss and she wants to show me her new house.. as she does i noticed she has 2 small dogs one black and one white.. I'm afraid after my ordeal and she says for me not to worry.. then as she turns her back... one of the dogs jumps up and bite my hand and wont let go... and she doesnt seem to see it... even with the dog hanging off my hand..

ps... I am terrified of large dogs... FYI.. and have been since i was a child....
