I guess he is talking about "monuments" as being stars?
if it were monuments WE humans built, that would be cool, but he is just lining up the stars with earth's "disections" if we used the equator like a circle and then disected it with euclidian geometry. The thing is, you can turn a circle...

But what do I know...
and no, I didn't see anything about crop circles on the page.
