Re: The Capital Punishment Human Sacrifice Ritual

Dear Daisy,

Several times I've tried to discover what I believe about capital punishment.

A few points have convinced me that it is no 'solution' to crime, or justice.

...1. I find it intolerable that even one innocent person be executed. Better to let all the guilty live, in my opinion.

...2. I see crime and criminals as pathetic; not even evil. When a person considers the beauty and joy of life available to everyone, those who choose differently seem very sad.

...3. Yesterday, it occurred to me that the wise people who make 'laws' could take into consideration that any system where people have control over the lives of others will always attract abusers. Better we should remember that, and find better ways to encourage social responsibility and regard for our fellow beings.

Sometimes I wonder where is Solomon when we need him.
