I understand what zekeman is saying as well....and agree. I only wanted to clarify what the word "pray" means for me....

For me, "praying" comes in many forms....affirmations are a form of prayer....visualization is also a form of prayer....

Certainly, we do not need to "pray" but only be aware and observe....gaze at the "dis-ease" or challenge....a gentle gaze is enough....

But as you say, holding the energy or space in "prayer", is a conscious way to perfection!

Such "prayers" as "may peace prevail on earth"....."may all beings be healed"....."may all Life be blessed"....these are daily mantras for me that are as natural as breathing.

ah...semantics..terminology! I often get caught up in it because I SO often cannot articulate the words....I have the knowingness but not the words!!! and then a wonderful book or someone like yourself who has that communication ability comes along and gives me that aha!! moment of resonance, and I finally have the words.....

I must say.....I don't really need the words, the knowing is enough for me....but it sure helps in sharing or trying to make myself clear. I had a knowing as a young child....and have eventually come across the words or concepts to partially give form to the knowing.

Oh well....I be rambling...
