Ionic Hairdryers, hair loss, mercury connection?

Thank you Hanna, I have a lot to learn!

Luckily, my hairdryer just broke. I just realized that I bought an ionic hairdryer last time and I bought it before my hair starting thinning. I am now thinking there is a connection. Apparently it blows negative ions which would attract positively charged mercury like a clay bath works. Is that weird or what? Anybody heard of such a thing? Thanks for your help!!
