Re: Digestive enzymes and/or Wobenzym?

I am naturally suspicious about dark blood cell analysis, and although I am not a fan of quackwatch.com, they did a good job exposing the problems that come with it. I would certainly not use it to determine nutrient deficiencies in the body.

I wouldn't start taking enzymes, or fats, HCL, supplements, based on a blood analysis, even a conventional one. Blood tests notoriously produce false positives, and are subject to interpretation more than anything. It is best to trust your gut on this. It is not ideal to use enzymes becauise they actually diminish the body's own production. There is a big difference between those the body makes and those that are supplemented. The body's own enzymes keep cancer at bay, plus their molecules carry the body's cellular memories, unlike supplemented enzymes.

If you have a small Vata frame, yes, eating smaller amounts is important. The size of your fist equals the size of stomach when it is empty. Two cubbed handsful of food equals the amount of what your stomach can handle at a time. So, if your hands are small, your stomach has a limited capacity to hold food. Eating accordingly helps with the digestion of the food.
