Questions about Freedom from Judgment?

Hey Andreas,
I am really loving this book and I'm about finished but I have a couple of questions. How does one connect with their "higher self"? I really relate to so much in this book but don't know where to begin. My next question is what is Jesus' roll in all of this? What was the purpose of the cross? I'm really trying to work on spiritual and emotional healing as I try to regain physical healing. You mentioned in the book to stop praying to God but to pray with Him. I don't know what that means. Could you explain? Ok, I promise this is my last question. In the Liver Cleanse book you talked about emotional healing and said to go back to when you were 3 years old and all was well with the world and then move forward to more difficult years and to keep doing this. I have little memory of my childhood and my memory doesn't really come to me until about 6th grade. I came from an abusive past and I'm sure I have just blocked things out.
