Re: Andreas-Deeper Question about Healing Process

Dear Tony,

Life is an ongoing experience and its many challenges may not always make sense to us. But when you look back in time you will realize that those challenges were needed for you to evolve and grow, to take in into areas you would otherwsie have avoided going into. Falling down during your first months of trying to walk may appear to be a frustrating experience if you happen to see it that way. But you can also see the falling as a way to gain self-confidence and strength. A toddler who is constantly held by his parents when he about to tumble and fall will lack self-confidence throughout his life and always be afraid of falling. A toddler who is getting on his feet without help, will carry that achievement mentality throughout his life.

All challenges in life are like that. They occur only to strengthen a part in us that we don't feel strong or confident about. You can only get hurt in areas that are weak already. The weaknesses in us attract situations that expose our shadow parts, mistakes, frustrated parts in one way or another in order to give us the opportunity to grow in self trust.

Problems are problems in one's mind only. Thinking that they are external things that lay obstacles in our way shows that there is need for self-empowerment and self-acceptance. In reality, victimhood doesn't exist. We play this role in order to learn standing up for ourselves and expressing what is inside us to the outside. We are naturally weak and gripped by fear when we believe or feel there are such things as external threats. The funny thing is when we no longer feel that way, these threats disppear as if they never existed.

In other words, the difficulties that present themselves to you are created by yourself on the higher self level, and exppressed/experienced through your personality self. You do that to complete yourself where you perceive yourself as fragmented or not good enough. Once you let things happen without you putting up resistance, those things let you know their reasons for being there, and the alleged problems seize to be problems.

You are never punished for anything in life, any pain is always there to heal where you feel wounded. Pains are always healing pains. You can see the pain as a form of pusnishment, as some religions try to tell you, or as a release of guilt (guilt equals self punishment). If people knew that their problems are actually solutions in disguise they would be more willing to accept them rather than resist them so much. When you let things pass through you, you are in the flow, and healing occurs naturally on all levels of body, mind and spirit. Holding things inside is the ultimate cause of disease (on any of these levels). It is quite simple when it comes down to it, yet when the human mind tries to figure it all out it becomes all so complicated.

Blessings,
Andreas
