Re: Andreas Hello

Actually, chewing on an almond cannot break a tooth unless it is already so weak and brittle that it only needs a trigger to break it apart. Root canals are an option many choose, but in the long-term they can be risky.

Root canals can become a source of sickness in the body. During a root canal operation, the center of the tooth including the nerve is drilled out, leaving behind what is really a dead tooth. The dead tooth may become subject to attack by bacteria that try to eat it away. The tooth can become infected, but since there is no nerve left, there is no pain. Even small infections such as this can increasingly weaken the immune system and undermine the most basic functions in the body. You need to think about whether it is worthy taking this risk. On the other hand, many people don't seem have problems with their root canals. Yet, as I said it they can become a source of problem in the body that usually doesn't get recognized as one.
