Re: Wall links

Wow that's really interesting about a wall. My initial thought is that a wall would be a great thing. Yes, please build the wall. Even in the ocean for that matter. Stop ALL the immigrants. Not to mention reducing drug trafficking. I am already worried for the USA economy, what with all the jobs moving to other countries. We don't need more poor illegal non-english speaking illiterate people. The average high-school dropout (there are plenty of those) and immigrants we already have can take what low-level jobs exist. Besides, if I have to show my passport just to get into Canada, which is so similar to the USA, then immigrants should not be allowed in. I know, I have no compassion.

But on second thought... A wall?! A wall can keep people out, it can also keep people IN. As we saw with the SARS scare, the "higher powers" control people's coming and going. The governments say who can go to which country, when, and for how long. This is a bit scary. I don't want to be restricted. At the least, that wall had better have the stairs so that we can escape to south america, if need be.
