Re: How to deal...?

You may want to teach your children the muscle test (for directions, see chapter one of my book The Key to Health and Rejuvenation, ener-chi.com). Test them on various food items from both categories. Justing thinking of a food item, like a hamburger, would get their muscles weak. Explain to them that eating this food makes their bodies become weaker and weaker just as it does when they think of it or hold it in their hands. Make a game of it, and involve them in the food choosing process. They will help them to make their own decisions when it comes to eating. If they refuse eating that food at their grandparents' because it makes them weak and unhealthy according to the muscle test, your in-laws may be forced to make changes.
