It is not that uncommon that women become pregnant despite condom use. So, yes, it definitely possible, especially if you are very fertile.

However, you may cnsider the following. Pregancies don't happen by accident, although it seems that way. They can only occur if there is a soul that finds you (the parents) to be suitable parents for a large number of reasons (karmic and favourable for learing and growth). If there no soul ready for this, there cannot be a preganancy. In most cases, the soul/consciousness/being enters the body at birth. Before that, it hovers around the parents, although not all the time. But it has to be present at the time of conception.

Since free will is the ultimate determining factor whether a soul comes into phsyical life, at least the mother must have an agreement with this soul. If you the mother and father absolutely don't want another child, it cannot come in. This is the best form of birth control. However, if there is any subconscious desire to have another child, that soul will go by that subconscious desire. It doesn't so much care about convenience. The timing of conception and birth are perefectly in alignment with the earthly puspose of that soul, and it s probable challenges during its earth years. The subconscious desire is due to a previuous agreement some time before (not during this lifetime) among everyone concerned, the child, parents, grandparents, etc.

There are some souls that just come in for moments, weeks, or some short years, enough for them to take their next step in their evolution, to help their parents develop some aspects of their own that are not developed enough.

Now, if there is a child waiting to come into your life, you can speak to it and explain that for the time being you are not ready for this, but you would consider this at a later time have it is would be easier for everyone. So before sexual intercourse, you and your husband would express strongly this your wish. No soul can go against that. If you aren't sure about trusting yourself on this, another way would be to avoid sex during ovulation. You can check that out through some simple saliva tests. There are quite a few such contraceptive methods, which I am sure you can search for on the Web.
