" There is nothing right or wrong about abortion, it just is."
My, my, you sure do take the high road, don't you, Andreas. There's no right or wrong, let's not judge, the soul hasn't entered the child yet, blah blah.
So we should not judge abortion or anyone involved in it. Fine. What else don't you judge, Andreas? I wonder if you take the same non-judgmental outlook toward kicking & stomping a newborn kitten or puppy to death, for only one possible example. Bet you'd find that plenty "wrong".
But just how much do you know about abortion, anyway? There are women who, for frivolous motivation (not medical necessity), have abortions at a later stage of gestation, when it isn't just a "blob of tissue" anymore, but looks quite a lot like a newborn, except it's much smaller. Do you still have this same outlook about these later-term procedures? Maybe you should go to an abortion clinic and sit in on some abortions. Watch the red sludge go down that tube, then watch some medical assistant sort out all the pieces in the container. They do that to make sure there isn't anything left inside the ex-mother.
I have always been curious as to how you, and all other supporters of reincarnation and the ideas that go along with it, absolutely KNOW that the soul, whatever that means to you, doesn't care that it's being sent back for a little vacation to await another possible set of parents. Where is your proof? I don't think that reincarnation is outside the realm of possibility; maybe it is indeed the way the world works. But you seem so utterly sure of yourself as to the details of intent, desire, conception, soul, birth, death. Don't you ever experience even a little bit of doubt, have you ever considered that maybe you're...wrong?
So we should not judge abortion or anyone involved in it. Fine. What else don't you judge, Andreas? Do you realize that if all of us carried your philosophy of nonjudgmentalism to its logical conclusion that nobody would ever do anything good or kind or helpful? If we saw someone, including animals, suffering or being abused, why we could just say, "Ah, it's their karma, I mustn't interfere with that. There's no right or wrong."
I consider abortionists & their bigtime feminist supporters to be a low form of life, but at least they can take a stand.
