Re: Blood Test Results -- Need Help!
What kind of liver cleanse did you do? Did it involve a colonic or colema at the end to remove any trapped stones (which almost always happens)? Read about the importance of this aspect of the liver flush in The Amazing Liver Cleanse, ener-chi.com. Trapped stones can weaken the immune system, affect white cell count and affect other blood values.
However, this may not be the decisive reason. One liver cleanse is not enough to deal with any existing and persistent health issues, such as blood imbalances. Since the liver exerts the greatest influence on the lymphatic system, blood, and immunity it is important to clear out all stones before drawing any other conclusions. It is most likely that the blood will become balanced once the liver cells have fully resumed their functions.
There are other factors that can contribute to blood imbalances. For example, eating fruit or fruit juices in the evening leads to fermentation of the sugar they contain. Since digestive functions slow down dramtically in the night, bacteria- containing foods (raw food) with a high sugar content turn into a poor quality alcohol while you sleep. This is very different during the day when digestive functions are strong.
Then there is the immune-supressive effect of eating a lot of raw foods. Unlike cows that "cook" or ferment their food in the several stomach they have, before re-chewing it, or birds that ferment their seeds in their goiter before swallowing, we humans need to make our food more digestible before eating it. The cell walls of raw foods, such as raw grains and most vegetables, are too sturdy to be crushed by chewing. They can only spill their contents (nutrients) when the cell walls are broken down through fermentation or heat. Heat would be our best option, although when making bread, fermentation (followed by baking) would be the best choice.
If the cell walls are not broken down before they reach the lower intestines (through cooking or heating), they are being attacked by fermenting bacteria. This however, causes toxins and gas. The lymphatic system becomes heavily overtaxed and congested. Bloating results. The immune system in the lymph ducts and the small intestines becomes impaired. This affects blood balance. All this becomes worsened by the large amount of antibodies present in the husks and skins of raw vegetables and grains. These antibodies form part of the plants' immune system. When ingested, our immune system treats them as antigens, which in the beginning has major cleansing effects in the body, which of course makes you feel clean, clear-headed, and energetic. In the long-term, however, it stresses out the immune system and leaches out the intestines' mineral resourses.
