Mitral Valve Prolapse Syndrome

I am diagnosed with MVPS but have many other problems as well (migraine assoc. vertigo, celiac, low thyroid, severe food and chemical sensitivities, hypoglycemia, dizziness and headaches). Many of these symptoms can be related to MVPS.
What do you believe to be the cause of MVPS? Will the cleanses (colonics and liver flushes) cure this? So far I have done 8 liver flushes with short lived improvement. I had a colonic following the last flush and intend to continue although I felt much worse afterwards.
