Re: Question for anyone-colosan & triphala
Hi Katie,
I think it is unwise to use Colosan as a laxitive. It is however excellent for cleaning the small intestine. To address the Constipation issue you really need to examine diet, life style and the need to do organ cleanses.
Constipation in most cases is caused by congested Liver and diet considerations. Congested Liver impedes the flow bile. Bile helps digest food, no or less bile implies undigested food in your GI tract, hence the constipation. The solution is to do a Liver Flush which in turn will expell many stones from the Liver (the case of the Liver congestion).
If you have not done a Liver Flush, I would recommend Andreas Liver Flush, the details can be found in his book:
The Amazing Liver Flush.
I would also recommend reading The Key to Health & Rejuvination.
Both excellent books packed with tons of information on life style & diet to bring about better health.
If you go to the top of the page and hit Andreas Website, you can find more info on the books, the e-copy is around $6.
Andreas will be back on the 8th April and he will answer your question more fully.
I do use Colosan but only as a means to clean the small intestine and only occasionally perhaps before a Liver Flush. Unfortunately i have not tried triphala, so i do not know.
Best Wishes,
