I've had HCV for ten years and have been with my husband for seven. I had only found out months before we meet. We have had two children. Because I was told it was all right; I breastfeed both my children for over a year. Both have been tested and are negative. My husband is regularly tested and he is also negative. We are careful. But of all the research I have done, Usaully HCV is contacted during sex if there is another STD present. Low percentage for monogamous relationships. And if it was once and no condom was used than you should go get tested. Just to be safer than sorry. And possibly sick...I am sorry, I don't know ligit statistics. But could offer own experience.
