Deworming doesn't cause weight gain. Since I've started this journey, I've lost about 30-40 pounds or so.

In my opinion, you have to choose store bought products wisely. When I first started out I got Parastroy (mainly because I was too lazy to put something together). My instincts told me that there was more and that I needed to go further. I'm really glad that I went with my instincts because I realized that I had more parasites than I thought. I decided to purchase fresh dry herbs, and capsulated them. I also got a tincture that had the 3 standard herbs, plus Quassia. This made a HUGE difference -- I used 4 capsules, the tincture 4xs per day. Everything cost about $20 bucks. Since you're starting out, this may work well for you. The formula below got things really moving out in about 3-5 days.

Equal Parts:
Wormwood
Sage
Calendula
Chapparel
Pau 'dArco
Garlic
Licorice

1/2 Equal Parts:
Clove
Cayenne

The symptoms of bloating that you described sounds like you still have a parasite problem. I wouldn't necessarily attribute it to hatchlings. It has been my experience that the larger ones cause gas and bloating. The parent parasites hang on and are sometimes asymptomatic (showing no visible symptoms). With the formula above you'll know for sure, if you still have a parasite problem!
