Help! SEVERE gas attack & cramping

i'm doing drnatura/colonix. i'm on day 15. don't feel much like writing.... i'm having a SEVERE gas attack. Very painful. Started this afternoon & has gotten progressively worse. So bad in fact that i gave myself a coffee enema. (This was only my 2nd enema ever) Don't know if this was the right thing to do or not!

It has been about 10 minutes since I evacuated for the last time (hopefully) from the enema.

What could have caused this?? I had diarrhea the first 2 days, and bad gas for about 4 more days. The drnatura people said for me to take probiotics as gas & diarrhea were possibly candida/ parasite related.

as i write it's getting a little better, but my stomach is still very distended & gassy.

1) What causes this?
2) what should i do next time it happens? (IF)
