Intestinal lining renews itself faster than skin.
Just like your skin may come off in strips (after a sunburn),
your intestines may shed their lining in strips too. Usually it is
a good thing. Normally the lining shed in smaller bits (like flakes
of the skin) and is digested and reabsobed, so you won't see it.

The parasites (if any) may be found embedded in the shed
intestinal lining. Get a high-mag. lense and see what those
thread-like little things are.

Tapeworm consists of segments. This is not a tapeworm.
