Parasite question

Hi:

I just recently got over the flu with a bad sore throat. The last couple of nights, however, I've noticed that I have so much of what feels like drainage in my throat it's pitiful. I'm currently doing a kidney cleanse ( Hulda Clark ), and I'm wondering if it is parasites in my throat. I don't have any kind of cold right now, so why would I have this drainage? My feel like my throat is scratchy and I have to swallow a lot because of what feels like a lot of fluid in my throat about to choke me.
