Well, everything that I've read about ascaris, the med experts claim that they have not found any male species when doing autopsies and concluded that they don't exist in the body. Therefore, there is this myth that male Ascaris aren't in the body. Let's face it, eggs can't be fertilized with the male involved.

The other crazy thing that med experts believe is that 100-200 worms is a "low infection" rate. A child can carry up to 100 worms in the gut. According to them, it's no big deal!
