mites

This morning, I noticed my 5 year old itching her head, well thinking it may be lice, I did a head check. I saw lots of tiny black dots moving around through her hair. I tried an oil treatment, leaving the oil in her hair for over an hour before rinsing, as well as washing her hair with a tea tree oil shampoo and conditioner. The tiny black specks are still there moving about. Any ideas on what I can use to naturally get rid of them? Thanks
