REALLY hard to accept: squirmy wormies in 4yo's poo
Ok, i have come to terms with the zoo i am working to expel from my own body, and when they have come out they have been manageably dead, but i was not prepared for this:
except for the baby, my kids are all pretty independant about the bathroom, so i dont see what comes out very often, but occasionally my 4 year old doesnt flush, and this was a very loose stool, just before flushing, i took a good look at it, out of my new habits, and did a huge double take
the toilet was swimming with all these moving beasts. mostly there were two types, one looked large and furry, about 1cm long kind of round with legs (or maybe hooks, is this a hookworm?)
the other kind was a very small, maybe 1/8-1/4
inch and whipping around.
all were transparent, it was really unreal, sort of like looking into a microscope, but without the microscope. there were so many of them.
my child is tremendously healthy, no symptoms of anything, full of energy, no allergies, rarely even gets a cold, so this was no aha moment, i was really not prepared for this. i imagine my other children would have them too, but i never see anything squirming in the baby's diaper.
has anyone reading this dealt with
parasite cleanse for a child? I think i will get the paragone for kids, but should i tell them they have wormies?, or just give it to them just as something we are doing for their health? Also my ex will really freak out if the kids tell them they have worms and i am giving them some herbs to make them come out.
please help i am really freaking out over this
