Re: bowel blockage

I am supected of having a bowel blockage and will be tested ( rigid scope) on Friday. Question, I have a hernia on my left side, can this and the blockage be connected in any way??? I have to have a slew of blood tests , all this is immediate. My doctor is wasting no time here. I think he may be looking for cancer??? I am in need of more info on the hernia and blockage as acting together, and my syptoms are slight pain on the left side, slight stomack sickness, really bad ( hard) stools.
