TV programme on Parasites in UK

Anyone see this? UK TV - BBC1 Wednesday night 9.00pm "Bodysnatchers". Part 2 next week. Scarey stuff..Showed a biologist deliberately introducing a Tapeworm ( beef Tapeworm - cyst) into his body to watch its progress. In a few weeks grew more than 2 metres. He then killed it with a pill just before his wedding day (his wife-to-be didn't look too pleased with the experiment!)
Programme dealt mostly with parasites that can be picked up in Africa Nepal etc, and showed a young man who had pork Tapeworm in his brain also cases of Ascaris and parasites from fish, beef and others. Very general and didn't touch on the alleged epidemic of parasites in the Western world but Part 2 is next week so it will be interesting to see what that brings and what cure they propose. Tweet
