Re: Senna tea addictive? How to restore peristalsis...
Nonius,
I agree with you...up to a certain point. Natural & herbal products can be harmful. But sadly, one of the major reasons for 'cautions' on bottles of herbs, is not really due to a danger with the product, it's due to the very realistic fear that producers have of being threatened or shut-down by the FDA. And of course, the warnings are aimed at people that attempt to subsitute herbs for medicine...without doing anything to actually cure the situation or symptom they have.
Case in point: Cayenne pepper. Virtually any bottle of even the weakest blend of Cayenne pepper is usually riddled with warnings. But the truth is, the strongest, hottest of Cayenne has NEVER been shown to harm bodily tissue, in any way...and it's probably THE greatest healing herb on the planet. (the only real warning needed, is that it shouldn't be taken when encapsulated).
Schulze's IF#1 contains both Senna & Cascara, and tens of thousands of people that have used it for decades, and realized a complete cure and return of bowel function. (that is, IF used according to his instructions, which are use it until you obtain 2-3 bowel movements daily, then use IF#2 along with it, then repeat the cleansing until you've achieved optimum bowel function).
Again, I must stress, it took
Dr. Schulze TWO YEARS to achieve optimum bowel function. A colon that's been lazy and underworked for decades is NOT going to be strong in a few weeks or months of using product. It takes continuous exercise of a very difficult to exercise muscle to achieve permanent peristalsis...ALONG with change of diet and lifestyle.
I have yet to hear of ANY testimony of someone utilizing
Dr. Schulze s Intestinal Formulas according to his instructions, that have not achieved optimum bowel health.
So until I do, I'm sticking with a healer that has saved tens of thousands of lives AND a time-proven product that works (that is based on Dr. Christopher's formula, that has also been time-proven)....no matter what 'fearful' warning labels ANYONE puts on any product. You see, I don't trust the FDA's or the AMA's 'labels', and I certainly don't trust the labels of a major herbal pharmaceutical company that sells products, directly competing with other's that contain senna/cascara...especially when that herbal pharmaceutical company has ZERO clinical experience.
