That is interesting question. I have not read an answer to that. Everything seems to have so its pros and cons. The triphala I have never read anything bad about, but I don't know what it does as a cleanser, you should be able to google it, I would think.
I personnally use Oxypowder and page 109 has 3 threads about people giving their views what they like and don't like as far as different cleanses go.
I asked Andreas a question about it, and here is his answer.

I had another link from views for the last 3 years from different people but I can't find it . I went through all the old messages, but by now I have so many notes that I don't know where it is.
It would be nice to have an answer if you can indeed restore peristalsis if it is completely lost. If I have a chance I will try to put it on Andreas forum.
I also wonder if MH has an answer, his LBB herbs you kind of have to use all the time, but he calls it a food. He does not have senna in his product, as far as I remember but he does use cascara sagrada.
