Re: Fibre Messages...Re: Great article on Fibre
Cindy,
PuhLEEZ accept my apology...I didn't mean to offend you in ANY way. And I certainly didn't mean to imply that someone that posted here for awhile had more clout than anyone else, or that they somehow held some kind of control or sway of the Curezone.
I was only attempting to explain why it is that folks that have posted here for awhile don't respond favorably to information from places like Atkins (because the 'diet' is dreadfully bad for one's health) and the AHA (because they promote unnecesary surgery and health destroying pharmaceutical drugs instead of attempting to cure the real problem). I honestly thought I was being helpful by explaining exactly why it is that some folks don't always find a need to comment...and by elaborating why that is. And I certainly didn't mean to sound arrogant...that's the least thing on earth I felt when I was writing.
I think it's fabulous that your interested in improving your health...and fibre intake is but a very small portion of the overall picture. But hey, ANYwhere is a great place to start. We all started our health-journey interested in but one small part.
I hope we haven't gotten off onto the wrong foot, Cindy. The Curezone is a fabulous place for learning & sharing. It's SO difficult to communicate by 'computer monitor' because it's almost impossible to correctly interpret folks' intention and meaning when posts and responses are only a few sentences long.
Since fibre intake mosts affects the intestinal tract (especially the small intestine and colon), I think I have a WONDERFUL link you'd really enjoy (and learn aLOT from).
The website is called TheDoctorWithin...and when you get there just click on the chapters section on the left, and choose "Journey to the Center of your Colon"...the reading is easily understandable and accented with stories, methods, and even a bit of sarcasm (a lot of 'good health' reading is pure drudgery :( The whole site is just great!
Anyway, here's the link:

I think it's great you care enough about health that you took the time to post. We're all here to share, learn (and answer questions when we can!)
