Hi Unyquity,
thanks for responding back.
You are correct, it can be difficult to decipher what a person is saying online through text messages. I was not sure how to interpret it so thank you very much for clarifying.
I am sure there are many organizations, perhaps like the AHA, that encourage dangerous surgeries. My Mother had gall bladder surgery years ago for stones and the whole experience with the doctor was horrid. I was the only one taking care of her and to see her have a bag with a catheter to take care of the leaking bile post-surgery was not fun. It was so long ago I dont remember it all.
I always urge her to take care of her health but she does not make a real conscious effort to better her life. She has fybromyalgia.
I've been reading the site you sent me to .. it is long reading!
I did not read the entire "journey to center of colon" article yet and have not seen any parts on fiber intake.
My recent interest in fiber intake over the past few days has triggered changes in my diet even more. I am hoping to make lasting lifetime habits and find a balance.
But the AHA website suggested 20-25 grams of fiber per day and I wasn't even getting that. I pulled their site by typing "fiber intake" on yahoo search and that was why i posted their link - so i was not trying to promote them, just the information i found.
I am preparing myself to do a full
Colon Cleanse soon.
I need to read more on Doctor Within - as he mentioned that most orgs say 1-2 bowel movements a day are normal. Well I am only having 1-2 a day and I am straining and pushing muscle. I never thought about it before, but I dont think that is normal.
I'm 28 and weigh about 155lbs. no major health issues and trying to drop weight.
So I am shifting my focus from calorie intake to nutrition intake.
I need to read other messages in this thread.
Again thanks for the link and no I dont think we got off on the wrong foot.
I probably misread your email too. Sorry :)
Cindy
