I don't know anything about the P&B shakes, but if you think it is too rough you might want to take a break. Barefoot Herbalist and Andreas Moritz are not for the shakes, they find them too rough.
MH sells his own LBB and Andreas suggests colosan, Oxypowder or similar product.
