Epsom salt
Epsom Salts are *extremely* dehydrating and *very* taxing on the kidneys.
Drink at least an additional 8
oz of water for every teaspoon of epsom salt. For occasional or short term use, or in very small amounts, they're ok but magnesium sulfate should NOT be used regularly or over a long period of time.
Also, the way magnesium sulfate works is by pulling water from your body into your bowels.
Epsom Salts don't remove 'plaque,' they just add water to the current food / waste traveling through the canal.
Epsom Salts 'clear a path' but do not 'clean the walls.' One reason Clark and others include magnesium sulfate in their
Liver Flushes is because of this 'clearing a path' property so that the 'stones' and released toxins have a quick exit and don't get 'stuck' in the bowels.
Since THE major way our bodies remove toxins is through the alimentary canal, it's best is to have clean working bowels before doing other cleanses or flushes. Since epsom salts don't get the old stuff out, they're not considered a true bowel cleanser, just an aid against occasional constipation and a quick way of helping move flushed toxins along and out.
