Re: 6 yr old daughter being diagnosed with possible IBD

Hello MommyJenny-
You should definately do some research on IBD on the internet to get more information, but with the symptoms you mentioned, it does not sound like your daughter has ANYTHING related to IBD. SHe doesnt have any signs of diarreah, constipation, or anything like that so I would be very cautious and do your own research when the doctors give you a final diagnosis. Just be careful if the doctors mentions things like surgery or anything that involves an in depth procedure.
Sometimes money drives them and I hate to say that. :-) Anyway, you would be surprised what GOOD NUTRITION can do for your daughter. I would suggest starting her on a VERY VERY healthy diet. "Bombard" her body with very healthy foods like Vegetables - Collards, string beans, Spinich, salads, Kale, etc... Also fruits- oranges, green apples, grapes, pears, etc... these things are excellent for our health and sometimes. Keep her away from red meat and if she has to eat meat feed her white meat like chicken and turkey. Keep her AWAY from sugars. If you do these things her health will definately be affected in a positive way. Take care and remember the doctors are there for our health but they are also there to make money as well, so do your homework and do your part by putting her on a very healthy Diet first. Good luck with getting her better. Wishing her the best of health.
