You are right to be concerned about senna use. However, with this combination(senna with other appropriate herbs and fiber) and only using for a few months, you should not develop dependence. I did not have any problems with doing the entire program for 4 months(the critters kept coming so I kept going).
The cleaner that you eat, the more effective the program will be.
