Re: I have a few questions.
Hi,
I know it all sounds so horrible to be true. But this lady has been staying with a friend who had a computer. To this date I don't know if they still even have that. This woman has been to all the places that are supposed to help, unfortunately between waiting lists and application processing times she got the shaft when what she needed was emergency assistance immediately. The system is all screwy here in Va.
If I remember correctly she has two daughters close in age (8&9)and a son who is 12.
How do I know these things? I have helped her in the past. She is kinda skittish about giving out her personal information because of her abusive ex-husband whom she left and she is still afraid of.
Her medical problems are absolutely horrific. On top of all the medical issues she has been to the doctor for (migaines, blood clots, and some others I can't remember right now but involve her face in some way) she was in a serious car accident on I-81 that left her in a wheelchair with pins in her leg, a broken nose, and I remember something else happened to her arm.
I gave her a bunch of clothes for her daughters because I have 2 daughters (age 9&10) myself outgrowing clothes, but I didn't have anything much for her son.
I did a search on google to see if she has posted anything recently outside of the group I am in here in Va. and came across this post.
There are alot of scammers on the internet and we should all be aware of those because it's the people who really need help who should receive it, not liars.
Her name is Julie, and she feels absolutely miserable and desperate for her children. This woman is real, this woman is being honest and she is so far down she can only look up.
I will be in contact with her this evening because she just posted to our group here in Roanoke. I am going to scrape up household items and go through my kids clothes again because they need it. Honestly, we don't have much ourselves, but we've never been as bad off as her.
I hope this helps.
