Tracey, Thanks for the response and the information. I plan to read thedoctorwithin.com site info thoroughly. Actually the ALT and AST numbers refer to enzymes that are working overtime to rid my liver of the excessive iron. Maybe the cleansing would be very beneficial. I'll let you know what I decide after I do some reading. Thanks again, Jackie
