Re: Going raw .. why?

To really get the full story you'll have to read 'enzymes' on the Doctor Within site.

I am certainly not eating 80% raw foods...probably more like 20% a day...that's not providing me with very many enzymes.

I think that if I were really sick or had lots of allergies I would definitely do his New West diet - mostly raw. It seems to make sense.

I'm working on adding more raw foods to my diet and just want to keep on top of my health so that it doesn't start failing. The guy on that site says something about how most people hit 40 and realize they can't eat or drink what they used to. Why? Because of years of accumulated mucoid plaque build up, toxins etc etc. I'm cleanin' out now! I'm not waiting till I'm 40!

phew.

rambling..I think it's late! bedtime...

Oh yeah, and he talks about Water quite a bit. You're drinking an excellent amount. And he says that your bladder does eventually get used to the increase of water (it's a muscle - gets toned) - just like you've experienced.

Thanks!

Tracey
