Re: More on the issue of locating Magnetic North. For Trapper?

I have a small button magnet where North side is marked. However it is a weak one and to get hold of some really strong magnets I too opened up an old HDisk as Trapper did and took them out (not easy!)
I want to find out which side is the Magnetic North -or the side to use against the skin sdo I can make my own rings and experiment with!
As I don’t have a magnetic compass, can I still find out by using this button magnet to identify magnetic north on the 4 HD magnets I have which I want to use for healing?

Would I do this by aiming the button’s Magnetic North side toward the other magnet and the side which repels should be Magnetic North?
Correct me if I’m wrong!
