I have a small button magnet where North side is marked. However it is a weak one and to get hold of some really strong magnets I too opened up an old HDisk as Trapper did and took them out (not easy!)
I want to find out which side is the Magnetic North -or the side to use against the skin sdo I can make my own rings and experiment with!
As I don’t have a magnetic compass, can I still find out by using this button magnet to identify magnetic north on the 4 HD magnets I have which I want to use for healing?

Would I do this by aiming the button’s Magnetic North side toward the other magnet and the side which repels should be Magnetic North?
Correct me if I’m wrong!

You can find them on the Albert Roy Davis lab website. As explained on their website, many magnets are marked north that are actually the south pole. Different companies use different definitions to determine what the north pole is and what the south pole is. Since they were the first to discover that there was a difference in the two poles, I'd take their word for it over anyone else. Another company I found that sells the same magnets is Biomagnetics USA.
