Air-Zone vs. Aranizer, WHO to believe?
Time to order! In rechecking both of these recommended products, I found that AZ is the site that said NOT to believe other companies "sales pitch" that offered only room size. Then they go head to head measuring output against many other companies various models - Aranizer, NOT among them. Soooo, back to Aranizer site to check.
RESULTS: ARANIZER - THIS MONTHS SPECIAL - BUY A BRAND NEW SS-4X for ONLY $229.00 [regularly $365.00] including FREE SHIPPING
2590 mg/hr 408 sq. ft. Liked this model because of sale price & HIGH output even though I don't KNOW exactly "what it means" :-) Nice pics [homey, friendly, trustworthy touch!]and 1/100th of the "sales pitch" of AZ site; which is O.K. 'cause I don't "get" Air-Zone's rants against other companies & SOOO much info!
Then I read this: Air-Zone® XT-400 13-400 mg.hr. ACTUAL OZONE OUTPUT: 445 mg/hr
[ozone output verified by Société Générale de Surveillance]
$329 - rooms up to 40' X 40' or larger
WHAT???????
Science I may suck at! but my math is great!
40' /x 40' = 1600 sq. ft coverage at 400 mg. hr.
HOW does that happen IF Aranizer covers:
408 sq. ft at 2590 mg/hr???
These additional features with AZ:
Remote Control [nice I guess, but not a deal breaker]
Patented Ozone Elements [both have that]
Can be used as an Air Purifier or for Shock Treatments to Kill Mold. [really THE feature that has ALMOST got me sold}
Two Built in Timers
Direct warranty coverage
Air-Zone also gives lots of information, but also WARNINGS about "leaving machine running" - I realize I have to monitor things but do not want to have to jump up in the middle of the night to ck the output! Is it BAD that Aranizer doesn't warn about this? Particularly IF their machine has much greater output? AND can Aranizer get rid of Florida mold & mildew since it SEEMS to have greater output?
Am I missing something here? Leaving all the "bells & whistles & bulls*%t" out - including the $100 price difference - how does this "comparison" make any sense?
AIR-ZONE 1600 sq. ft coverage at 400 mg. hr.
ARANIZER 408 sq. ft coverage at 2590 mg/hr ???
again......HELP!!!!!!
