Question on H2O2, How can I raise H2O pH?

WHat is the pH of hydrogen peroxide? Would it tend to raise or lower the pH of tapwater?

I recently purchased a reverse osmosis water filter and I must say that I just love the taste of my water now! Much better! According to my test strips, tapwater comes out at 6.8 pH, and after going through the filter, it is 6.2 pH.

I have read that people who do this can end up having problems, later on, because their water is too acidic and it starts wreaking havoc on them. This concerns me.

I am looking for something that I can put into my water to alkalize it back up to 7.5 or 8.0 pH. Something simple like a mineral blend, a single mineral (potassium comes to mind), or a solution that can be added with a dropper to bring it up. I am not a chemist and I;m looking for something relatively simple to accomplish this. Mixing compounds would not bother me either, if I knew the right chemicals to use and the appropriate quantities to mix toggether.

Does anyone have any ideas on this, or perhaps point me to a book that would list safe, edible chemicals or compounds that could be used? "Chemistry for Dummies?" LOL Thanks for any input you have.
