Re: Severe pain from metronidazol and ciprofloxacn

I too have/had diverticulitis, went to Dr cause of sever diarrea (had off & on for yrs) my left side was hurting & Dr "thought" it may be infected, so she gave me Ciprofloxacn just in case. took blood to see if there was infection. I took the cipro for 5 days , then she calls & said test says no infection. Well, too late! I was having a reaction to the Cipro. This was Jan . i had 3 different outbreaks of severe blisters & then scabs on lips & mouth , then inside mouth. andarms, scalp. It so painful! I had to go on prednizone (different Dr gave to me) she my my immune system had took a shock from the cipro. as of now, i seem to be "holding" with out another outbreak. as for the diverticulitis, I done a colon cleanse & parasite cleanse & it seem to be GONE, as well as the years of diarrea. I checked out this cipro & it is bad stuff. I wish i could remember the site name for you.It (or any other strong antibiotic) can cause blindnes, etc. I saw on TV, where this woman's (1st) lips broke out in blisters, then her whole boby & her skin came off. Dr's said she wouldn't make it , But it did grow back. a natural antibiotic is unpasterized, unprocessed, apple cider vinigar. and fresh garlic. good luck Tweet
